Your first appointment is about getting to know you. We review your health history, take the X-rays and photos we need, complete a thorough exam, and talk through anything we find. If a cleaning is appropriate at that visit, we will do it the same day whenever the schedule allows.
What to bring
- Your dental insurance card, if you have coverage
- A list of current medications and any medical conditions
- Recent X-rays from a previous dentist, if you have them (we can also request them for you)
- Any questions or concerns about your teeth, gums or smile
Before you arrive
You can fill out our new patient forms online ahead of time so your visit starts on time. Plan to arrive about ten minutes early if you prefer to complete paperwork in the office. Parking is available right outside the building on Murrieta Boulevard.
Nervous about the dentist?
You are not alone, and you will never be judged here. Tell us how you are feeling. We can take things slowly, explain each step before we do it, and offer nitrous oxide or oral sedation for patients who want extra help relaxing.
Common questions
How long is the first visit?
Plan on about an hour to ninety minutes so we have time for a complete exam, X-rays and a conversation about your goals.
Do you take my insurance?
We are a Delta Dental preferred provider and work with most PPO insurance plans. Call 925-455-9510 with your plan details and we will check your coverage before you come in.
